Fornax is a company with a tradition of over 100 years in the field of fire-resistant linings, complex supplies of furnace plants and specialised construction work.

The Fornax a.s. is controlled by integrated control system on the platform of quality control system as per ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 further integrating control system of steel construction production as per standard ČSN 73 2601-Z2:1994, environmental control system as per standard ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 and Occupational health and safety management systems - Specification as per standard ČSN OHSAS 18001:2008.

History

FORNAX continues in a tradition of construction of industrial heat plants that was established more than 100 years ago.

Following privatisation in 1992, our experience in the field became the starting point for further development of the company. In the years that have followed, not only have we managed to continue and develop working with our existing partners, but we have also won a number of international partners. Our products can be seen in most European countries as well as in Asia, North America, and Africa.

Tradition in the field, our own engineering, a wide range of our own manufacturing facilities, a well-balanced team, and a number of orders completed around the world; all of those elements rank FORNAX as a major European company in the industry.

All of the company shareholders come from the Czech Republic.
